The Significance of Nutrition

When children receive proper nourishment at the appropriate times, their minds and bodies develop as they should. However, when this doesn't occur, malnutrition becomes a concern. In severe instances, it deprives children of their future prospects and places young lives in jeopardy.

Our efforts are focused on preventing all types of malnutrition by ensuring children in orphanages have access to nutritious, safe, cost-effective, and sustainable diets.

The global percentage of malnourished children has nearly halved since 1990. Despite this progress, there's much work ahead. Presently, over 2 million children in Nigeria are at risk due to malnutrition — nearly twice as many suffer from deficiencies in vital vitamins and other essential micronutrients.
