The Significance of Nutrition

When children receive proper nourishment at the appropriate times, their minds and bodies develop as they should. However, when this doesn't occur, malnutrition becomes a concern.

Presently, over 2 million children in Nigeria are at risk due to malnutrition — nearly twice as many suffer from deficiencies in vital vitamins and other essential micronutrients.

Our efforts are focused on preventing all types of malnutrition by ensuring children in orphanages have access to nutritious, safe, cost-effective, and sustainable diets. In the last 12 months, we have been able to provide access to quality nutrition to over 200 children in orphanages.

Despite this progress, there's much work ahead.
